Mumbai schoolboy Pranav Dhanawade first to score 1000 in innings
A Mumbai schoolboy has become the first cricketer to score 1000 runs in an innings.
Pranav Dhanawade, 15, scored 1009 not out in KC Ghandi
School's total of 1465 against Arya Gurukul during the HT Bhandari Cup
inter-school cricket tournament.
Dhanawade's runs came off just
323 balls - he smashed 59 sixes and 129 fours, making the most of the
short 30-yard boundary on one side of the ground.
